Pathology Associates of Lexington (PAL) is a privately owned pathology group located within Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC.  Since 1971, PAL's staff has been dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to the citizens of our community.

We have eight full-time physicians and three part-time physicians who are all board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and some are board certified in subspecialty fields such as cytopathology, hematopathology, dermatopathology and neuropathology.

Our staff also includes four full-time highly trained Pathologist Assistants who work under the supervisions of our pathologists.  All four of our PAs are certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology and are members of the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants.

The PAL staff are all readily accessible to assist the healthcare providers of Lexington Medical Center, Lexington County Health Services District and the South Carolina Midlands area.
